The Fill A Backpack (F.A.B.) program supplies children with necessary school supplies whose families otherwise could not afford them. This program is made possible through grants, corporate and individual donations. The F.A.B. program is unique and special because in addition to receiving donations it allows individuals to be hands on and become personally involved if they so choose.

A Precious Child’s F.A.B. program works closely with school administrators and volunteers to fill backpacks with supplies and distribute them to schools and children in need. The goal is to equip children with the materials necessary to participate effectively in their learning experience. Beginning school with the appropriate materials is crucial for learning and it can give children great confidence and incentive to excel.

The F.A.B. program aims to help as many children as possible and together, with the generous support of donors and volunteers, we will change lives!

Here are some ways you can become part of the program:
Schools/Classrooms may become involved by implementing the F.A.B. program with students leading fundraising campaigns that collect backpacks and school supplies for a needy child;

Businesses/Corporations may become involved by having backpacks at their front door where customers can donate school supplies, or implement an employee giving drive; and

Individuals may participate in this program alone, with friends or perhaps as a family project.

If you would like to be a part of this program, email A Precious Child at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   or call us at 303-466-4272.  We can help you with ideas on how to introduce F.A.B. in your social or career circle!

The F.A.B. program partners with the Broomfield Police Departments, North Metro Fire Rescue Department, Local School Districts, Shelters and Churches.
