Bilingual Front Receptionist
Our receptionist will be the first person our clients, volunteers, and donors see when they walk into A Precious Child. They need to be an individual who will be a warm, compassionate, calm and a welcoming presence. We need an individual who is fluent in Spanish as half of our client base is Spanish speaking. This individual will need to be able to multi task and remain calm under stressful situations and be respectful and compassionate towards our clients and their situations.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting and greeting clients, volunteers, and donors and assisting them accordingly
- Answering multi-line phone system, directing phone calls to appropriate staff member
- Making appointments for clients, collecting the appropriate data from each client
- Taking and relaying accurate messages
- Maintaining a clean work space
- Handling incoming and outgoing office correspondence
- Data entry
- Assisting Client Services with client intake
- Office duties such as making copies, filing and organizing documents
Experience and Qualifications:
- A passion for A Precious Child’s mission and vision
- Bilingual Required, Spanish speaking
- Exceptional customer service skills and ethics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Access and Google Calendar experience preferred
- Presents a polished and professional image and demeanor
- Must be a self-starter who is motivated, outgoing and has strong organizational skills
- Ability to accomplish projects with minimal supervision
- Must be able to manage competing demands and handle multiple duties simultaneously
- Adapt strategy to changing conditions and communicate changes effectively
- Work well independently and in a team environment
- Meets deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, dependable and an ability to work effectively with coworkers, volunteers and interns
- Possesses excellent relationship and interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively with donors, volunteers, and staff; displays mature judgment, superior diplomatic skills
- An extremely high degree of professionalism and integrity, as well as the ability to pay attention to detail and quality standards are required
Compensation: This is a full-time hourly position, with no benefits. Hourly rate $8.00 to$10.00 an hour depending on experience
